Last night the Foothill High School Marching Band had their first competition of the season.
Jason and I went and supported them,
helping, cheering and wearing the band sweat shirts.
Past month I have been sewing the color guard flags with several other women.
I have to say that the flags looked great...and I will never look at the flags same way again...it was so much work!
But all the hours of working on props, kids practising, us loading and unloading the semi, fundraising...all of it...was worth it!
Foothill high School took a 1st place! They also won the best music, the best general effect, and the best visual!

And this is only the beginning. Next five weeks they will have a competition every Saturday, including one in California and one in Utah.
