CHRISTMAS

The most anticipated day was here.
Before going to bed night before, Niko in his personal prayers had asked guidance that he would not be tempted to sneak upstairs in the middle of the night to find out what Santa had brought to him.

(He has had a problem with this in the past.)

Jason did not sleep well...just like each year.  He was just too excited about Christmas morning.
Call time was 7 am.
And after that they day was blur.

Lining up to the staircase ... some more wake than the others...

Checking out what Santa brought...

Eating the favorite breakfast of all...
sugar cereal,
which we only have on Sunday mornings, Birthdays and Christmas :)

Opening more presents...this time with mom and dad
and each other

Jason went and shopped at Justice for Maija, in her favorite clothing store...

Maija got Markus some Dr. Pepper and a t-shirt to go with it...

Kai and his shoes....he had been waiting for this moment for quite some time

...like brother, like brother.  Niko with his new basketball shoes

Niko got this screwdriver for Jason

Niko sporting his new UNLV jacket from Kai.  It will go perfectly with the UNLV basketball tickets Santa brought for all the boys

Niko disguised his present to Kai by packing this racket in. Quite clever. Kai thought the whole time that he was getting a racket from Niko.

Thank you Kirsti and Jori for all this delicious Finnish candy.
The best in the world.

After the present opening we took it easy for couple of hours before heading to grandma's and grandpa's house to continue festivities.

While driving there Niko brough one of his favorite presents with him.

And gave us all an spiritual message from it.
