I definitely have more success gardening in fall/winter/spring versus summer here in Vegas valley.
We have had lettuce, dill, cilantro, parsley, and spinach all winter long.
We have been harvesting pea pods and carrots all February, March and up to mid April.
I love my garden. It makes me feel, like I am not even living in desert.

I forgot what I planted here :(
I thought that it was cauliflower, but does not look like one...or then something went wrong.
My pea plants got totally out of control.
We had couple of cold weeks during winter, and I thought that my pea plants all died.
But when the weather warmed up, they all came back to life. And now we have been enjoying sweet peas for weeks.
I probably should had thinned them, but I thought that they died during winter, and I was too lazy to pull the plants out. Good thing I did not!
